Blood tests
Has your doctor prescribed blood tests?
Your specimens (blood, urine, stool, saliva, hair) are collected and/or handled by experienced professionals who are members of their respective professional orders, i.e. the Ordre Professionnel des Technologistes Médicaux (OPTMQ) and the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières du Québec (OIIQ).
In order to ensure the quality of the services we offer, we follow the recommendations of the Ordre des Chimistes du Québec (OCQ) regarding blood specimens. Before being sent to the various laboratories, they are stabilized in our premises to ensure the reliability of the results.
Adult sample
Less than 10 minutes – $32
Children's blood test
Less than 10 minutes – $32
Depending on the analyses requested and availability, we use the services of public (CHUS) and/or private laboratories. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of service in the shortest time and at the best cost. All information about you (including results from private laboratories) is treated with the utmost care to ensure confidentiality. Test results from the CHUS are sent ONLY and directly to your doctor, usually within 48 hours.
Our global vision of the human being pushes us to broaden our service offer to allow you to take more complete charge of your health. We collaborate not only with health professionals in traditional medicine, but also with chiropractors, acupuncturists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, naturopaths, etc. This collaboration gives you access to a wide range of tests and a network of trusted health care professionals.
In Quebec, a blood sampling must be prescribed by a doctor. It is therefore impossible for us to take blood samples without a medical prescription.
Before you come in or call us for an appointment:
- Make sure you have your prescription filled out and signed by your doctor. We will need the information that is included.
- Also, make sure you have your doctor's full name to avoid any delays in getting your results.
- Please note that we do not receive any results from the tests prescribed by your doctors. If you have not received your results or have questions about them, please refer to your medical clinic.
